Charlotte FC forward Andre Sinyashiki has been linked to a sexual assault police report filed at Charlotte Mecklenburg. As reported by Charlotte Ledger.
Ledger obtained the report using Shinyashiki’s name and date of birth, but he was not named directly on the document and has not been charged with a crime. The report said an unnamed 23-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in the early hours of February 26. According to the same report, an investigation into the incident was open, but no action was taken. Police are no longer actively investigating the incident.
Shinyashiki mentions suspicion In a tweet posted Tuesday nighthe “cooperated fully with the separate Charlotte Police Department and MLS investigations relating to the incident, and no charges have been filed against me. I also have permission from MLS to play.”
An MLS spokesperson declined to comment when asked if Major League Soccer had actually investigated and/or cleared the new mansion. Also, when asked if the players participated in the league’s substance abuse and behavioral health programs, they declined to comment. have participated in the program.

Shinyashiki last played for Charlotte on April 9. Coach Christian Rattanzio declined to comment when asked Why did you tell reporters after the game, ‘I just want to talk about the players here’?

“We would like to have a little more clarity on certain matters, but for now there are some private matters that we are discussing internally,” Rattanzio said.
Shinyashiki, 25, was traded from Colorado to Charlotte for the 2022 season. Appeared in 28 games for Charlotte.
The forward is a former MLS Rookie of the Year (an award that has since been converted to MLS Young Player of the Year) after playing for the University of Denver.
