San Antonio – San Antonio FC announced Thursday that the club has signed Conor Maloney to a multi-year extension. Per team policy, the terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Maloney has spent the past three seasons with San Antonio FC, captaining the team as they defeated Louisville City FC in the 2022 USL Championship Finals on November 13th. In the past three seasons, no player in San Antonio’s colors has made more appearances or minutes than Maloney.

Maloney has appeared in 75 regular-season and playoff games in the USL Championship over the last three seasons, and has appeared in 6,642 minutes from 74 games. The Pennsylvania State player recorded eight of his assists in San Antonio and his Colorado springs against his Switchbacks FC on November 6 in the club’s Western Conference Finals win. Scored the first goal in the club’s championship.
The 27-year-old spent three seasons with Major League Soccer’s Columbus Crew after being selected in the third round of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft.
