St. Louis, Missouri – Forward Duncan McGuire won the 2023 MAC Harman Trophy.
McGuire has spent the summer of 2022 improving his skills in USL League 2. McGuire played for Lane United last season, scoring four goals and providing three assists.
He tended to favor big moments in the 2022 Ligue 2 season. He scored all four goals against the top two players in the North West division and scored his points in each of his three different games with the side Lane.
After a great season at Creighton University, McGuire scored 23 goals with the Blue Jays and qualified for the NCAA Tournament.
All three finalists for the prestigious award qualified for the 2022 USL League 2 season. Syracuse forward Levonte Johnson has been active for Chicago FC United, while top-class midfielder Peter Stroud wrestled his game at his FC Motown STA and Tobacco Road FC over the summer.
“It’s been an honor to be a part of Duncan’s story so far. All three finalists competed in League 2 to hone their skills and achieved great results. That’s what this league is about. We are so proud of Peter, Duncan and Lebonte, three futures.”
McGuire is the 12th player since 2002 to gain experience in USL League 2.
