Tulsa, okra. – FC Tulsa announced Wednesday that the club has signed the left-footed Spanish centre-back Luquis ahead of the 2023 USL Championship season. This transaction is pending league and federation approval.
The 27-year-old comes to Tulsa after spending the last two seasons in the Finnish top league with AC Oulu and FC Inter Turku. Luci has made 70 appearances and scored four goals in all competitions over the past two seasons, including starting both of Inter Turku’s UEFA European Conference League qualifiers last July. It proved to be durable on both clubs.

When he signed with Kotkan Työväen Palloilijat in 2020, Ruxi became one of Finland’s most dominant defense forces. He played a key role in FC KTP’s promotion to the First Division with two goals and 29 assists. Following his season in 2020, he finished second in the league’s Defender of the Year voting.
His stellar season has caught the attention of Finland’s top division, the Veikkausliiga, and Rukisi has signed for AC Oulu in 2021 before joining FC Inter Turku in 2022.
Before playing in Finland, he started his career at Gymnastic de Tarragona in Spain in 2016 before going on loan to UE Olot before returning to Gymnastic de Tarragona in 2017. Completing the 2017 Catalan Cup his time at the club as he played in the match and as champion. In 2018, Rukii played for Spanish clubs Lapid de Bouzas and in 2019 SD Formentera, before signing for Icelandic club UMF in 2020.
