The Will C. Wood boys soccer team had no problems with Vacaville Christian on Wednesday night as the Wildcats won 15-0.
Wood put up a 8-0 lead at the half and never looked back in the win.
Carson Sacca had three goals and one assist in the win, while Andres Morales had two goals and four assists. Freshman Danny Coral also had three goals and an assist, while Franco Mendez had assists and one goal. Angel Ramirez added two goals of his own, while Uylsses Ramirez, Gabe Sanchez, Isaiah Ramirez and Haward Moqattash each had a goal.
Wood (1-1-1) took on Pioneer on Thursday, while Vacaville Christian (0-2) plays Dixon at home on Friday.
The Vacaville High School girls soccer team tied Vintage 3-3 on Wednesday.
Sofia Reiswig scored two goals for Vintage in the tie. Vacaville had not posted stats as of presstime Thursday.
Vacaville plays Dixon on the road Friday.
The Vanden High School girls soccer team defeated American Canyon 6-0 at home on Wednesday night.
The Vikings (2-0) play Benicia at home on Tuesday.
The Vanden High boys basketball team defeated Rosemont 79-44 on Wednesday.
Vanden went up 18-6 after one quarter and never looked back in the victory to put the VIkings record at 2-2.
The Vikings’ next game is Saturday at Dougherty Valley.
