LA Galaxy
Today is the last day for the LA Galaxy to sign players from abroad. The Galaxy will not be allowed to sign players from abroad in the summer as part of sanctions for improperly reporting Christian Pavon as a TAM player in 2019. The Timbers traded centre-back Bill Tuiloma to Charlotte early in this window to generate an allotment to help with future moves. They also continue to deal with injuries, with Eric Williamson out of the season with a torn ACL. They haven’t put him on the season-ending injured list yet, but if they do, that would free up a roster spot and a bit of budget space.
Portland will also appoint Jack Dodd as its new technical director, sources say. athleticDodd is currently the scouting chief for Toronto FC. He will serve as his number two for sports director Ned Grabavoy. The club’s front office has been bright since Grabavoy was appointed interim sporting director last fall.

CF Montreal have finalized a deal to loan local midfielder Lyda Zuhir to USL club San Antonio, sources say. athleticA roster spot will open up in addition to Zuhir gaining more consistent minutes.
Montreal has been active in the trade market in recent years, acquiring Bryce Duke and Ali Lassiter earlier this month and sending Kamal Miller and $1.3 million in GAM to Inter Miami.
