Red Star Belgrade close to signing Australia centre-back Milos Degenek from Columbus Crew, deal source says The Athletic.

CF Montreal have finalized a deal for Colombian youth centre-back Fernando Alvarez from CF Pachuca, contract sources reveal The Athletic.
As originally reported by Fabrizio Romano, the deal is worth around $1 million.
Montreal acquired Alvarez’s MLS Discovery rights from Inter Miami. Inter Miami were one of the few MLS clubs interested in signing him, not just European clubs.
Alvarez, 19, represented Colombia at the U-20 World Cup. He made one appearance for Pachuca’s first team and was promoted out of the academy. He is also eligible at the international level for Mexico and the United States.
