What happened? 19 year old striker feeling good lately, found a target in six of his last eight appearances in the Eredivisie. These exploits were expected to get him buy-in from Greg his Barhalter in his USMNT plans for Qatar 2022, but Talented teenagers have been overlooked.
Overall picture: I am understandably disappointed not to be selected for my first national team in the Middle East. major tournaments, Pepi has appeared to take out the frustration of his domestic opponents and Groningen are now sitting in the middle of the table as a result.
What next for PEPI? The American frontman will be on loan at Groningen for the remainder of the 2022-23 season. He moved to Holland after struggling to influence Germany at Augsburg after moving to Europe in January.
