Sophomore girls soccer player Amy Diaz, her sister Daisy Diaz who is a third grade teacher and assistant girls soccer coach Gary Iles recently set up a coat drive for the elementary students in need.
Perry residents donated winter items on Wednesday at the high school and the items were handed out Friday night at the elementary. The elementary school will keep what is left and give to kids who they think might be in need.
