Pawtucket, Rhode Island – 2024 USL Championship Expansion Club Rhode Island FC announced Tuesday that the club has received 2,500 season ticket deposits in a single week, setting a new opening week record in USL history. Season ticket deposits went on sale on Tuesday, the day after the club announced its team name and unveiled its crest.
“Rhode Island has proven to be a community ready for professional football,” said Rhode Island FC President Brett Louie. “The Rhode Islanders have been waiting for years for a team to call their own and we are thrilled to be that team.
