San Antonio – San Antonio FC announced Thursday that the club has signed defender Zico Bailey to a 25-day deal. The deal is pending league and federation approval, and per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Bailey comes to San Antonio after spending the last three seasons at Major League Soccer’s FC Cincinnati. There he topped his flight and played on loan in his MLS NEXT Pro for the club’s reserve team, FC Cincinnati 2.
Bailey has made 19 appearances in the top flight for FCCincy, playing over 1,000 minutes, scoring one goal and two assists. His 22-year-old right-back made 17 appearances in the MLS NEXT Pro last season, recording two assists and completing 84.5% of his passes.
