st. petersburg, florida – The USL announced today that St. Petersburg FC will become the newest club to join the USL League 2.
“Participating in USL League 2 has been a goal for many years,” said an SPFC official.
The club’s mission is to connect with the local Pinellas County community through football, with local initiatives and honoring the city of St. Petersburg with its name and image. They want to make football accessible to all talent in the region.
Their colors feature the pink of the iconic Don Cesar Hotel, the blue of the Gulf of Mexico, and the sandy yellow found on many beaches.
