Colorado Springs, Colorado – The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC announced Wednesday that it has acquired forward Juan Tejada in a move from fellow USL championship club Indy Eleven. The deal is pending league and federation approval.

Tejada was acquired by the club in July 2022 and joined the Switchbacks after just under a year at Indy. During that time, he made 28 appearances for Indy, scoring two goals, and totaling 1,121 minutes with the team.
“He’s been a great addition to our growth in the locker room and a great fit with the players who work hard every day to build this organization the right way,” Switchbacks head coach and general manager Steven Hogan said. will do,’ he said. “On the field, we’ve seen the work ethic, pressing ability and finishing quality he can produce if given the platform.”
The 26-year-old previously competed in the USL Championship with the Tampa Bay Rowdies and turned pro in 2019.
