Colorado Springs, Colorado. – Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC announced Saturday that the club has signed Canadian midfielder Jay Chapman ahead of the 2023 USL Championship season. This transaction is pending league and federation approval.

Chapman made over 100 Major League Soccer appearances in his career before joining the Switchbacks. A member of the Toronto FC Academy, Chapman spent five seasons with Toronto FC, where he scored six goals in 79 appearances, while at Toronto FC II he scored three goals in the USL Championship. Did. During his college career, Chapman also played in the USL League 2 for KW United FC, making 25 appearances in the 2013 and 2014 seasons, scoring 6 goals and 5 assists.
