Just hours before the first national team game of the year, US Soccer has reached a four-year agreement with NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises for exclusive Spanish-language rights on all Telemundo platforms, including Peacock in the US. announced.
The agreement ends Univision’s relationship as the Federation’s Spanish-language broadcaster for the past 15 years. Warner Bros. Discovery Sports acquired the rights to the English version, replacing ESPN and Fox Sports.
The deal with Telemundo will host more than 20 U.S. National Team matches each year on Telemundo, Universo, Peacock and Telemundo digital platforms, including friendly matches, the SeaBelieves Cup and home Concacafe Nations League group games.
Telemundo holds the rights to the Spanish version of the 2026 World Cup and other FIFA events for the next four years (and the 2024 Olympics). Univision holds the rights to the Spanish version of Conca Cafe events such as the Nations League final and the Gold Cup.
