About two minutes after returning to the game, he sat down and limped onto the bench on his own. The 31-year-old was quickly taken to the bench and tended to by Toronto staff, holding his head in his hands and looking visibly distraught.
Insigne is the highest-paid player in league history with a guaranteed $14 million annual salary.
