Tampa, Florida – The United Soccer League and Stats Perform, a global leader in soccer data, have agreed to expand and extend their partnership through at least 2028. Under the new deal, Stats Perform’s Opta service enters a new phase that will enhance USL’s fan-facing platform, broadcasts and more. – Field performance tools for specialized departments.
The deal includes the USL Championship, League 1 and Super League, the USL’s new professional women’s league starting in summer 2024. Opta has served as her provider of official football data for the USL since the start of the 2017 season. .

Sophisticated new Opta tools such as Pressbox Live will be incorporated into USL Championship, League 1 and Super League broadcasts via commentators and graphics.
Opta’s data will also support the USL’s technical initiatives and its continued integration with the league’s global transfer market.
The broader partnership also includes access to a wealth of Opta products and in-depth data enabling in-depth analysis of clubs and fans in the USL Championship, League 1 and Super League.
Opta covers over 1,000 leagues and competitions worldwide and serves as the official data provider for the Premier League, La Liga, Ligue 1, Serie A and more. Opta data has become the industry standard used by professional soccer teams and scouts around the world.

The news follows Opta owner Stats Perform’s recent ISO 27001 certification and IBIA Sports Data Integrity certification, further highlighting the company’s commitment to customer data quality.
