USA vs Iran final score, result: USMNT qualify for World Cup 2022 knockout stage with 1-0 win after Pulisic goal

Fox’s post-game show said Christian Pulisic was taken to the hospital. Hopefully for precautionary reasons, Greg Berhalter didn’t have any updates on his status after the game.

The United States has never faced the Netherlands in an official game before.

Yunus Musser’s performance on his 20th birthday epitomized the dynamism of Team USA. He’s been phenomenal and has been through this group phase all along. No wonder England lamented losing to him.

Next up for Berhalter’s team is the Netherlands. I think this is a lot closer to his 50/50 contest than people might expect. Naturally, the Dutch would be the favorites, but Ecuador could bet on them a bit. I think USMNT can do it too. Thailand can win if they defend well, but America needs Sargent and Pulisic. Burhalter was unable to provide an update on Pulisic shortly after he left full-time.

Tyler Adams was everywhere again. But this time, his diligence was fully met by Yunus Musser. The Valencia midfielder, who turns 20 today, must have made club coach Gennaro Gattuso proud of his cleverness to help the United States in an incredibly difficult game.

A lot of sympathy is going on, from US players to Iranians. But now the US are getting closer (albeit not much) to the fans behind the goals they were attacking in the second half. they love it!

It was the second time since 2010 that the U.S. men have advanced undefeated through the group stage.

The whole country screamed after Iran demanded a penalty kick, but it was never awarded.

The USA finished second in Group B and will face the Netherlands in Saturday’s Round of 16.

They won 1-0 and advanced to Round of 16!!!
