Warner Bros. Discovery Sports US Women’s National Team Against new zealandco-organizer of the 2023 FIFA World Cup, Tuesday, January 17 at 10 PM ET on HBO MaxThe broadcast, which features one of the world’s most popular and successful women’s sports teams, launches live sports programming on HBO Max in the United States.
Throughout its first year, WBD Sports will feature over 20 matches with a balanced approach to programming featuring women’s and men’s national teams, including the widest lineup of games featured on TNT. With the full broadcast schedule for all 2023 games finalized, WBD Sports and US Soccer will share updated programming information as soon as possible.
Additionally, Bleacher Report, House of Highlights, B/R Football and HighlightHER will provide fans with content throughout the year to enhance player profiles and stories with fans.
Award-winning football commentator with over 25 years of experience in international football, Luke Wylman Provides USWNT play-by-play for New Zealand. He will be paired with National Soccer Hall of Famer and co-commentator Julie Hoody. Third member of the Game Crew – Melissa Ortiz – Reporting live from Wellington, New Zealand.
Starting at 9:30 p.m., studio coverage of the US Soccer Pregame Show will be headlined by four-time Emmy Award winner Sarah Walsh and three National Soccer Hall of Famers Shannon Box, DaMarcus Beasley and Hoody. All-night programming will also include halftime and post-match coverage recaping the night’s action.
